Olivia Steffers

Occupational Therapist

Olivia is from Colorado, USA, where she received her bachelor's degree in Sport Science and a minor in Healthcare. While completing her degree, she worked with adults with various disabilities, helping them with the meaningful activities they wanted and needed to do. Post degree she moved to London for her master's in Occupational Therapy from Brunel University London, where she did a placement in a school-based setting, sparking her interest in paediatrics.

She recently passed the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), which is an American exam where she gained knowledge in understanding typical and atypical paediatric development, common diagnoses, assessment tools, and intervention strategies relevant to children and young adults.

As a newly qualified OT, she looks forward to learning all that she can from the experienced therapists here at TLUK and bringing her knowledge from the NBCOT and studies into practice.
