Every time you shop online with over 8,000 retailers, including Amazon, Tesco, Argos, John Lewis, M&S, eBay and Booking.com. Those retailers will donate a small percentage of your purchase to our cause. It doesn’t cost you a penny extra, but it makes a huge difference to us.

🧩 What It Is

Easyfundraising is a UK-based fundraising platform that helps people raise money for good causes when they shop online.

It connects shoppers, retailers, and charities or community groups so that free donations are created — without anyone paying extra.

💡 How It Works — Step by Step

1. Sign up and choose a cause

  • Go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk and create a free account. Or click on our personal link: https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/support-a-good-cause/step-1/?char=392114&invite=zre5ym&referral-campaign=c2s&utm_campaign=web-referral

  • Choose a cause to support — it could be:

    • A registered charity (like Cancer Research UK)

    • A local club (such as a football, dance or cricket club)

    • A school or PTA

    • A community group (for example, a scout group or church)

  • If your cause isn’t listed yet, you can even register a new one.

2. Shop online as usual (but via Easyfundraising)

  • Before shopping, go to the Easyfundraising website, or use their browser extension or mobile app.

  • There are over 8,000 retailers that partner with them — including:

    • Amazon

    • John Lewis

    • Tesco

    • Argos

    • eBay

    • Booking.com

    • Marks & Spencer

  • Click the retailer’s link on Easyfundraising, which takes you directly to their website.

That click is tracked (using cookies), so the retailer knows you came through Easyfundraising.

3. Retailer gives a small donation

  • When you make a purchase, the retailer pays Easyfundraising a commission (a small percentage of the sale value).

  • Instead of keeping it, Easyfundraising passes 100% of that commission to your chosen cause as a donation.

The donation rate varies — for example:

  • Around 0.5% to 2% for most online shopping

  • Sometimes higher for travel bookings or insurance

4. Donations add up over time

  • Each time you or other supporters shop through Easyfundraising, more donations are collected.

  • Once your cause reaches a certain amount (usually £15 or more), Easyfundraising transfers the money directly to them — often every quarter.

🏆 Example

Let’s say you’re supporting Oakwood Primary School PTA:

  • You sign up and choose that cause.

  • You buy £100 worth of items from Argos through Easyfundraising.

  • Argos gives a 2% donation (£2).

  • Easyfundraising sends that £2 to Oakwood PTA — free money for them, no extra cost to you.

Thank you, we appreciate all the support we receive!
