Cynthia Williams
Occupational Therapist
Cynthia graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from the University of East Anglia and is an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
She began her career within psychiatric intensive care and low-secure forensic services with adults, where she developed experience in assessment, risk management and supporting individuals to build independence.
Cynthia later moved into specialist education, working within an SEN school for autistic children and young people with diverse sensory, communication and functional needs. In this setting, she deepened her understanding of sensory processing, co‑regulation and their impact on functional participation, applying sensory‑informed approaches in her daily practice.
Cynthia is now joining Therapy Links as a Specialist Occupational Therapist. She is a creative and dedicated therapist who is passionate about building positive relationships and helping young people feel regulated, confident, and able to participate more fully in everyday life.
